An important part of setting up Engage is specifying which product feeds will be available to use. Once a product feed has been configured, data from it can be incorporated into your email sendouts.
For a deeper introduction to product feeds, see this article.
Setting up a product feed in Engage
To configure a product feed to work with Engage, first the product feed has to exist on an URL that is publicly accessible. Then the configuration is done in the Engage back-end by Voyado. This step consists of setting up the XSLT used to map the structure of the feed. Once this is done, the Engage user can add more product feeds as long as they all follow the same structure.
You can add a new product feed in the marketing group settings.
Marketing groups
Product feeds are used together with marketing groups when designing emails. If you will work with markets that are differentiated by language and/or region, you'll need to configure a marketing group for each one in Engage. You will then need to connect every marketing group to a product feed.

Using a product feed in a sendout
When including items from a product feed into your sendout, you'll need to include that product feed as a data source in your email template in Design Studio.
