Not seeing any products when using a Product Feed module in Design Studio? This article walks you through the key things to check to ensure everything is set up correctly.
If this is the first time you want to connect a product feed to Engage, contact your Account Manager, as the initial feed setup and configuration are handled by Voyado.
If you already have one or more product feeds and want to use them in Design Studio, follow these steps to make sure everything is set up correctly.
1. Check that all marketing groups have a product feed
All marketing groups need to be connected to a product feed so that products can be fetched correctly for each group (including Default).
Make sure each marketing group has the correct feed selected.
2. Add a product feed module
For a quick start, add one of the product feed modules available in the Starter library. They're set up and ready to use.
You can also create your own module and customize it to fit your design. In this case, make sure that:
- The Product Feed data source is added to your module
- The module has a Repeater on Products
- Elements in your module use dynamic data (for example:
ImageUrlfor images,Titlefor product name,ItemPricefor price)

3. Select products in the module
Use ItemId or ItemGroupId to select products to display in your module. If neither ID returns any products, verify that the ID exists in the product feed. If you need help understanding how these IDs relate to your feed, contact Voyado Support.
4. Preview with data to test
When the feed and module are set up correctly, select Preview with data to see the product data in your email.
You can also check how products look in different markets by switching to Localization mode and selecting between your marketing groups.
