Customer Experience Platform (CXP)
Engage brings together data management, segmentation, reporting, marketing, and automation tools. You can view and manage individual customers through detailed contact overviews and contact cards, including custom data attributes. Sophisticated segmentation tools allow you to target audiences and create segments based on purchase behaviour and contact data, making it easy to personalise your communication.
Engage also provides extensive reporting features, including financial, customer base, and communication reports, all accessible through a customisable dashboard. Consent management and GDPR-compliant data extracts ensure that you can respect and manage privacy regulations efficiently.
For integrations, Engage connects seamlessly with your e-commerce systems through dedicated APIs. You can export data for BI analysis or postal send-outs, and use third-party services to onboard, monitor, and enrich contact data. Marketing teams benefit from integrated tools for email and SMS communication, including a drag-and-drop content editor, email preview mode, and built-in A/B testing. Both marketing and transactional messages can be automated using native or external triggers, and web tracking enables you to follow customer activity in real time. Additional scoring models such as RFM, predictive churn, and CLV provide powerful insights for targeting and retention strategies.
Targeting
Targeting in Engage allows you to define and manage segments based on customer data and behavior. You can combine conditions such as demographics, purchase history, and activity to create precise groups of contacts. Saved segments, known as target audiences, are updated automatically to ensure that your campaigns always use the most recent data.
The targeting functionality also includes Assisted targeting, that helps you build audiences using predefined attributes and AI-based insights, such as product affinity or churn risk. Automation
Automation in Engage makes it possible to create workflows that send messages or update data automatically in response to customer actions. Each automation begins with a trigger, such as a new subscription or a purchase, and can include steps like sending an email or SMS, applying labels, or waiting for a set period before moving to the next step. Conditions and splits let you define different paths depending on how each customer interacts.
The automation overview provides a clear picture of how each workflow is performing, showing how many contacts have entered or completed it and how each activity has been executed. Loyalty
The Loyalty functionality allows you to create personalised, multichannel promotions that can be tailored to individual customers. You can design promotions using codes, multichannel strategies, or swipe interactions, and enhance engagement further through challenges and achievements, which add a gamified layer to your campaigns. Omnichannel Capabilities (Omni)
Engage is built to support true omnichannel marketing. Through POS integration APIs and the Engage POS Accelerator, you can link online and offline touchpoints, enabling actions such as sending confirmation emails for physical store purchases or analysing store performance through dedicated reports. SMS-in services and registration forms make it easy to capture customer data and initiate conversations.
Extended AI
Engage includes a growing set of AI-powered features that assist with insights, targeting, and communication. In the Insights area, AI can surface patterns and trends automatically (currently in beta). Targeting can be enhanced using AI-assisted tools for product affinity, purchase personas, and churn prediction. For communication, AI helps you craft SMS messages and test subject lines through A/B testing. You can also use drag-and-drop email modules and APIs to deliver personal recommendations at scale.
Points
The Points add-on gives you the tools to build loyalty programmes that reward customer engagement. You can calculate and assign points based on behaviour, manage rewards by generating vouchers, and define tiers that encourage customers to progress through your programme.
