As well as assigning points through a promotion or adjusting points manually, you can also adjust points within an automation. The point adjustment needs to be set up with a fixed number of points to assign or deduct.
Adjust Reward Points activity
You can use the Adjust Reward Points activity to assign or deduct a specific number of points. In this activity you can configure a positive or negative point adjustment, specify a reason (by default: From Automation) and optionally add a description and comment. This information will be visible in the Reward Points overview on the contact card, making it easy to identify why points were added or deducted and the adjustment type.
Examples of use cases
- Assigning a fixed number of points when a customer becomes a member
- Bulk adjusting points for a group of contacts
- Awarding a fixed number of points after a completed purchase or interaction
