Message performance

The Message performance view gives you a unified and modern overview of how your messages perform across delivery, engagement, and revenue. 

This view replaces the legacy email statistics view and brings all key metrics into one place for easier analysis. With clearer visualisation and improved structure, you can quickly understand how your messages are performing and identify areas to optimise. 

This helps you make more informed, data-driven decisions in your communication strategy.

How it works

The Message performance view is divided into two main sections that give you both a high-level overview and more detailed insights. This new view is designed to give you a clearer and more complete understanding of message performance, combining engagement and revenue insights in one place.

Primary performance metrics

At the top of the page, you see the primary performance metrics. This includes delivery and engagement data such as:

  • sent
  • delivered
  • open rates
  • click-through rates
  • unsubscribe rates

These metrics help you quickly evaluate how your message performed in terms of reach and interaction.

You can also filter the data by marketing group and select different metrics to analyse. This makes it easier to compare performance across markets or focus on specific KPIs.

Revenue section

As you scroll down, you'll access the revenue section. Here, you can see:

  • total revenue generated
  • conversion rate
  • average order value
  • number of receipts

You can also adjust the attribution window and attribution event to control how revenue is calculated. This gives you flexibility in how you measure the financial impact of your messages.

Below the revenue summary, you will find a breakdown of results by market. This allows you to compare delivery and engagement performance across different regions or segments, helping you identify trends and optimisation opportunities.

Phase-out of old view

The Message performance view will replace the legacy email statistics in both the Design Studio and the classic email editor. However, during the transition period, both views will be available.

The old email statistics view will be gradually phased out once all functionality has been fully incorporated into the new experience.
