Once a Point Shop Offer has been published, there are limits to what you can change.
This is to ensure a consistent and reliable experience for your members. Since offers are tied to actual point deductions and fulfilled through multichannel promotions, changing the offer after communicating it to members or after members have started purchasing could cause confusion or lead to incorrect redemptions.
Some updates however are safe (and useful) to make even after publishing.
For example, you can:
- Extend the visibility period of the offer. (Validity dates on the point shop item)
- Extend the validity period for a reward, only for new purchases. (valid to on the multichannel promotion)
- Update descriptive texts or change image to clarify the offer.
- Adjust targeting rules for who can see/purchase the offer.
These edits allow you to manage and optimize your shop experience while protecting the integrity of rewards already claimed.
