A Point Shop lets you reward members with personalized offers that they can purchase directly using their points without the necessity to turn them into vouchers first.

This feature creates a fully digital shop experience, where you define the rewards and members use their points to claim them. The actual shop is set up in your environments, e-com my pages, app etc, while each offer—called a Point Shop Offer—is configured directly in Engage.

Using a Point Shop adds a clear sense of value, choice, and control to your loyalty program. Instead of receiving points and occasional vouchers, members get continuous access to a curated selection of rewards. This makes their points feel tangible and motivates them to stay active and engaged. 

For you as a brand, it’s a way to offer relevant incentives without always relying on discounts since rewards can include anything from exclusive products to event access or digital perks. You define the rules, the costs, and the experiences, based on your customer segments and business goals.

This flexibility makes Point Shop a powerful tool for strengthening long-term loyalty and creating a more rewarding, personal connection with your members.

How it works

A Point Shop Offer represents a reward that members can see and purchase in the shop (if they have enough points in their balance). 

When a Point Shop Offer is created in Engage, two things are generated:

Point Shop Item: This stores the point cost and validity period to determine when the offer should be available in the shop.

Multichannel promotion: This is a standard promotion in Engage that delivers the actual reward to the member once the offer has been purchased.

Buying an offer from the shop

When a customer buys an offer in the Point Shop, the point cost is automatically deducted from their balance. A multichannel promotion is then assigned to the member, providing the selected reward. This could be a monetary discount, a free product, access to an event, or anything else you've set up.
