Manual sendouts are managed in the sendout builder. Here you can add or change your email design via the Design Studio, decide your recipients, and schedule a day and time for the sendout.
Sendout overview
- Design: Click on Create to go to Design studio. The first time you click here, it will ask you to choose a template or start from scratch. Once you have started an email creation, this button changes to Edit.
- Recipients: Define your audience by adding your segmentation or target audiences here.
- Send date and time: Here you can set your send time and date. You can set one local send time that will automatically adjust for each marketing group based on their time zone, or set a manual override if you want different times for different marketing groups.
- Overall status: This is the overall status for your sendout. If you have variants with different statuses, it will display the most relevant one.
- Schedule: When you have finished setting up your sendout, click here to activate the scheduling.
- Marketing group: A list of the marketing groups you have selected for this sendout.
- Subject line & preheader: Your subject line and preheader per variant email (translated to the relevant language)
- Recipients: The recipients, as set, per marketing group.
- Send date and time: The local send date and time for each variant.
- Status: The status for each variant (draft, scheduled, sending or sent).
Recipients
In the recipients section, you can define your audience by selecting segmentations or target audiences.
Send date and time
In the send date and time section, you can set a send time for your sendout for all variants (it will use local send time or a default), or specify sendout dates and times for each variant, if you prefer. Activate the distribution toggle to set a time period for the sendout. This will limit the load on your e-commerce site during popular campaigns.
