Search in Automations is a powerful new feature that allows users to instantly find elements within complex or large automations. It drastically improves navigation and editing by highlighting relevant activities based on your search query.

How it works

The search functionality is located at the top of the Automations editor. When a user types a keyword—such as an activity name, ID, email label, or conditional setting—the system filters and displays matching blocks in a list.

Clicking a result:

• Jumps directly to that item in the automation
• Highlights the item
• Blurs out the rest of the automation for clarity

This feature makes it easier to locate components during troubleshooting, editing, or optimization sessions.

How to use Search in Automations

1. Open an existing automation in the editor.
2. Click the search bar at the top of the screen.
3. Enter a search term, such as:
   • An email name
   • A specific ID
   • An activity type (e.g. label or set consent)
4. Review the result list showing all matches.
5. Click a match to jump directly to that block. It will be emphasized while the rest is dimmed.
6. Repeat as needed to quickly locate other parts of the automation.
