At the root node of the overview tab you'll find Email settings. This is where you'll access some base settings for your email.
You will probably just visit this area of email design studio when first setting up your templates.
Settings
The Settings tab has language-specific settings used to override the default settings.
The default settings are:
Language: Set to use the "Marketing group locale" attribute
Reading direction: Set to "Auto"
You normally do not need to change anything on this tab.
Styling
Here you define the styling for your email's HTML.
It comes with some default values.
Width + Breakpoint width
The width of the document in desktop view and the width where layout will be transformed for mobile. If these settings are changed later, make sure your modules still look as you wanted.
Fonts
Import custom fonts, learn more.
CSS + CSS inline
These fields let you add some extra CSS. The CSS field will add code in the head of the HTML while CSS inline will add it on all elements. CSS class attribute specified on layout elements can be used to reach specific part of the HTML.
Link color
Inline links in text elements are colored blue by default but you can edit the hex code to use the color of your branding in the CSS inline code.
