Configuring Engage with BigCommerce

This feature is currently in BETA and Voyado is actively seeking user feedback to improve its performance and functionality. We appreciate your support in this process.

Set Up the Voyado App in BigCommerce

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for integrating Voyado with your BigCommerce store.

1) Log in to BigCommerce Admin

  • Access your BigCommerce admin panel

2) Install the Voyado App

  • Navigate to Apps > App Marketplace
  • In the App Marketplace, search for "Voyado"
  • Select the Voyado app and click on Get this app
  • Once added, click on Install
  • Once installed, click in Launch

3) Activate and Configure the Extension

  • Go to Apps > Voyado
  • Copy the Store ID and securely send it to your Voyado team
  • The team will notify you when the app is configured.

Sales channel and store mapping

This section enables you to track where customers register and ship their orders by mapping Engage stores to shipping countries in BigCommerce. The mapped data can be used as filters for automation and segmentation.

Engage Store

An Engage Store is an entity that can be linked to both a customer and an order, allowing for more detailed segmentation within an Engage Environment. It supports mapping by country or location, including brick-and-mortar stores.

Map your Engage Stores to Storefront channels

To do this, follow the steps below:

1) Log in to your BigCommerce store.

2) Navigate to Apps > Voyado.

3) Select your Storefront Channel.

4) Under the Store and Country Mapping:

  • Map a specific country to a specific Engage Store with Add New Option
  • Choose the Engage store to be used as default for any country that has not been mapped

5) Repeat the first step in 4 above for all countries you wish to map.

Contact phone validation

BigCommerce does not validate phone numbers in the same way as Voyado Engage. To ensure compatibility, you must add validation to all phone number fields in customer registration forms. We recommend using the Google libphonenumber library for accurate validation.
