Revenue overview dashboard

The Revenue overview dashboard gives you a structured breakdown of your revenue, how it trends over time, and which channels have contributed to it. The dashboard offers a standardized, non-editable view with persistent filters that stay saved until you log in again, giving you clear insight into revenue trends and attribution.

Who can access the dashboard?

The dashboard is available for these roles:

  • Central Admin: Has access to all stores in Voyado.
  • Super Admin: Has full access to all stores and special tools in Voyado.

Dashboard filters

The dashboard includes filters that let you customize your data view.

You can't look at dates that occur in the future.

Time period filter

The period filter lets you select a date range for the displayed data:

  • This week
  • Last week
  • This month
  • Last month
  • This quarter
  • Last quarter
  • This year (YTD)
  • Last 365 days
  • Custom period

Comparison period

The "Compare to" filter lets you compare the selected time period against:

  • Previous period: The same length of time as your chosen period, immediately before it. For example, if you choose to look at January, the previous period is December. If you choose to look at week 10, the previous period is week 9.
  • Previous year: The same period, one year earlier. For example, if you choose to look at January 2025, the previous period is January 2024. If you choose to look at week 10 2025, the previous period is week 10 2024.
  • Custom period: A flexible comparison period that you set in the calendar. This is useful if you want to compare, for example, Black Week 2025 to Black Week 2024, since the exact dates shift from year to year.

Attribution strategy

The Attribution strategy setting affects how revenue is attributed to email and SMS communications in the dashboard.

  • Email attribution options, attributed to: Last received, Last click, or Opened.
  • SMS attribution options, attributed to: Last received (delivered).

Attribution window

The attribution window defines the timeframe for considering a communication's impact on revenue. It affects both SMS and email attribution:

  • One day
  • Three days
  • Seven days

KPIs in the dashboard

The dashboard contains two main KPI sections.

Revenue breakdown

  • Total identified revenue: The total paid price from all transactions during the period, including all purchases and returns. This is based on transactions from identified contacts.
  • Purchasing contacts: The number of unique contacts who made one or more purchases during the period. Contacts who only made a return in the period aren't included.
  • Total contacts: The total number of contacts (all contact types) on the last day of the chosen period.
  • Purchase frequency: Total purchase occasions (transactions with at least one purchased item) divided by purchasing contacts.
  • Average purchase value: Total identified revenue divided by the total number of purchase occasions in the period.
  • Average revenue per customer: Total identified revenue divided by purchasing contacts.

Attribution breakdown

All revenue in this section is attributed based on the revenue in the chosen period and how much of it can be attributed to different channels. Because of this, the numbers here can differ from channel-specific reports, such as automation statistics or message delivery statistics, where you look at all sendouts in the period and connect how much revenue can be linked to them.

  • Total attributed revenue: Revenue attributed based on the selected attribution strategy for both email and SMS. Each purchase is only included once. Note that transactional emails, such as abandoned cart and back in stock, aren't included.
  • Automations, email: Revenue attributed to automation emails, the number of automation emails sent, and the revenue per automation email sent.
  • Automations, SMS: Revenue attributed to automation SMS, the number of automation SMS sent, and the revenue per automation SMS sent.
  • Manual, email: Revenue attributed to manually sent emails, the number of manually sent emails, and the revenue per manual email sent.
  • Manual, SMS: Revenue attributed to manually sent SMS, the number of manually sent SMS, and the revenue per manual SMS sent.

Widgets and graphs in the dashboard

The dashboard includes visual representations of your revenue and attribution data.

  • Revenue breakdown graph: Displays revenue, day by day, over the chosen period. This graph doesn't show attribution.
  • Attribution overview: Shows attributed revenue in relation to total identified revenue over the period. This gives you insight into how much revenue you can link to your communication efforts.
