1. Retention of Contacts
The Customer controls how long Contacts are retained in the Product and must actively configure the retention settings to ensure retention/deletion of its Contacts and associated data. When a Contact is deleted, personal data pertaining to that Contact (such as purchases, activities, communications and other related data) is deleted.
If no retention settings are applied, the Contacts and associated data will be retained in accordance with p. 2 below.
2. Retention of data pertaining to Contacts
As long as a Contact remains active in the Product, Voyado manages the retention of all data pertaining to that Contact. The data is kept for as long as it is needed for the purpose of the processing (the provision of the Product) in accordance with data minimization principles. Retention periods may therefore vary depending on the category of data and its use.
For segmentation purposes, the retention period for purchase data related to active Contacts may be limited to a specific timeframe at the Customer’s request. However, Voyado reserves the right to limit the retention of purchase data to a period of 24 months or less from the transaction date. Extended retention of purchase data may be purchased at an additional cost, please contact your Account Manager for more information.
