Data retention

1. Retention of Purchase data

For segmentation purposes, the retention period for purchase data related to active contacts can be limited to a specific timeframe upon customer request. However, Voyado reserves the right to limit the retention of purchase data to 24 months, or less, after the transaction date.

2. Retention of Other data

Retention of other types of data associated with active contacts will be managed by Voyado. These limitations are defined by Voyado to balance the purpose and value of Engage's features with compliance requirements—particularly data minimization principles. Retention limitations vary depending on the type of data and its use, and are guided by principles of data minimization—both in terms of data granularity and retention periods—based on processing purpose.

3. Retention of Personal data and Contact deletion settings

To ensure complete retention of all data — including personal data —customers must actively configure deletion settings. If no such settings are applied, the default behavior is to retain data in accordance with the principle outlined in point 2.
