About the BigCommerce integration (BETA)

BigCommerce is an e-commerce platform that provides software as a service services to retailers. The company's platform includes online store creation, search engine optimization, hosting, and marketing and security for small to Enterprise-sized businesses.

The Engage app for BigCommerce offers a range of functionality, including:

  • Keeping your customer database unified and up to date using automatic syncing. Customer profiles reflect real-time activity and preferences across all storefronts, enabling accurate personalization and segmentation.

  • Enabling several types of transactional communication sent out from Engage

  • Tracking purchases, returns, and cancellations with real-time syncing. This supports better segmentation based on order status, purchase frequency, and refund activity.

  • Monitoring product views, cart activity, and browsing behavior to trigger relevant communication. Use this behavioral data to send abandoned cart and browse recovery emails that encourage conversion.

  • Assigning and managing personalized discounts and promotion codes directly through Engage. Support for market-specific offers allows you to tailor incentives by region or segment, driving stronger engagement.

  • Migrating (importing) customers and their orders into Engage from the BigCommerce app
