Sales KPIs rolling 12 months

This article introduces you to the reports ‘Sales KPIs rolling 12 months’ and ‘Sales KPIs 12 months per store’.

The Sales KPIs rolling 12 months report presents sales KPIs for the past 12 months. Rolling values are a good way to look at your numbers to reduce seasonable deviations and show you long term trends instead. When you look at rolling 12 KPIs, April will include 12 months data from May last year to April this year, March will include 12 months data from April last year until March this year etc.

In the upper right corner of the report table, you can sort the numbers in ascending or descending order, or by label.

This report only takes data from the past 24 months into account. This means that KPIs further back in time than 12 months will not summarize a full 12-month period. The further back you go, the shorter the time span included. If there's less than 12 months of data available, we’ll summarize only the data that exists.
If you filter on a target audience, it will show the numbers for those who are currently in the target audience, not those who have been in it over time.

Metrics

Revenue

Total amount of all sales during the past 12 months. 

For example, if you look at april 2024, the revenue shown is for the past 12 months, from May 2023 to April 2024. 

Average receipt

Average receipt for the past 12 months. 

Purchases per shopping contact

Average number of purchases per contact done by the past 12 months. Receipts with only returns are discarded from the calculation.

Articles per purchase

Average number of articles per purchase during the past 12 months.

Shopping contacts

Total number of shopping contacts during the past 12 months.

Purchased in store and online

Percentage of shopping contacts who made a purchase online and in store during the past 12 months.

Made purchase in store

Percentage of shopping contacts who made a purchase in a physical store. An unknown amount of these customers could also have made a purchase online.

Purchase online

Percentage of shopping contacts who made a purchase online. An unknown amount of these contacts could also have made an in-store purchase.

 

Sales KPIs 12 months per store

The Sales KPIs 12 months per store report is calculated in the same way as the previous report, but the numbers are broken down per store. The results are shown in a list view and are not compared with the previous month or the corresponding month in the previous year.

The column Cross store type purchase ratio shows the ratio on how many customers that purchased at that store also purchased in another store type. For example, if you’ve selected a physical store, then you can see how many of the customers that purchased there also purchased online.

If you are a local administrator, you don't have access to this report.
