The Engage POS Accelerator helps your in-store staff to access more information about a customer directly in the POS.
Dashboard
The POS Accelerator is accessed via a web browser. On the dashboard you can see a compilation of statistics from your contact database.
The data shown is unique per store but all staff in the same store will see the same data even if they are accessing it from different POS terminals.
To open a contact card on the dashboard, click the Search field above the dashboard and enter the relevant contact information. This is usually one of the following, depending on your setup:
- Email address
- Member ID
- Social security number
- Phone number
Once you have found the contact, select Search (or press Enter) to go to the Overview tab.
Overview
Here is where you find personal information, labels, and promotions.
Personal information
Here you can see all the selected contact’s available data. Select Change to edit the information, for example if the customer has a new email address.
If the contact has been assigned any labels, these are listed here.
Promotions
Here you can see if the contact has any valid promotions to use. Select Redeem if they decide to use one.
Transaction history
On opening the Transaction History tab you’ll find a list of the contact’s receipts.
How to access the POS Accelerator
The POS Accelerator is accessed via a web browser, so either a touchscreen or keyboard plus mouse must be present in the POS.
Once activated, the POS Accelerator can be reached (in the production environment) through the URL:
[tenant].instore.voyado.com
Or this one in the staging environment:
[tenant].instore.staging.voyado.com
The simplest way to open it is from a button or link in the regular POS window.
