Value splits

Value splits allow you to send your contacts down different paths of your automation based on certain values in the contact's data, or in the payload attached to them. This means that you can often merge similar automations into one single automation that uses a value split, and thereby reduce the number of active automations you need to achieve the same results.

Regardless of which entry trigger is used, there are always a few choices bases on the contact's data. Use these to communicate with your contacts in their language, or the language of their market, in the same automation. Options available are:

  • Country
  • Language
  • Marketing Group
The "Language" value split is hidden if not in use. So if this attribute is searchable in attribute settings, it will be shown in the value split. Otherwise, it won't.

There are also specific values that are available as value splits for specific entry triggers:

When you add a value split, a default group will always be set up to include all contacts that are not included in the splits you specify.
