Pausing an automation

It is possible to temporarily disable an automation trigger for a specified period and effectively pause the automation. This can be useful when, for example, there are many other campaigns ongoing, such as in Black Week.

Internally, a paused automation continues as normal, but no new contacts will enter.

How to pause an automation

Here are the steps to pause an automation.

1. Select your automation

Click on your automation in the list of active automations.

2. Manage status

Select the Manage status button:

This brings up the Pause automation panel.

3. Set the date and time

In this panel you set the time and date when you want entry to the automation to close and when you want it to re-open again.

Press Save when you're ready.

4. View "Paused" status
